Russia's Now

Russia has been  deveropped by mainly energy sector and Manufacturing in world economy recession.

On December, the Russian protest and demonstration  have expanded more than our thinking.
 it will have several causes.
For example, public service, education  and income gap. especially, urban and rural.

But recently, the actvites involve middle class of urban. This may be just (political)Voice of Russia.

There are very intersting artcle on The Economist (http://www.economist.com/blogs/easternapproaches/2011/12/protest-russia-0)

Some quote

But yesterday the protestors showed themselves to be a political force. “We exist! We exist!” they chanted. They were educated and affluent—many of them carried iPads—and were keen to make their voice heard. The protest had been organised on social networks, but yesterday this Facebook crowd turned its virtual agitation into political reality.

I don't think Russia's traditional media(TV,radio and newspaper...) only use tool of propaganda by govermant from 1990. and altenative new media is only just tool of information.

But. this realties mean that it is not small. because This activites are interactions by new medias(SNS) and its not Russian but global citizens.

Russia's goverment emphasis 'natioal image'  for other countries.  perhaps not do violent military action for citizens. Rather it convinient to emphasis 'democracy' for one.

In contrast, Japan has been very rich country. (Of course. facing many political and social problems.)
Mnay citizines have ipad, iphone and PC and used SNS than other country.

Also, my friend say ' japan is wonder and mysterious country'  I think so.

Surelly, there was movement anti-nuclear enegy policy and TPP. but not expand and not serious dialogue than I and you thinking.

It means japanese opinon and action dosent seem to exsit.

Where dose voice of japanese citizens?  I cant answer accuracy....

However, I want to tell you Voice of Japan possible by new interactin medias.

”Thinking Role of Science”

I am always thinking about ” Role of Science” . In my chirdfood, my dream was to be a scientist of biology.

More than six months have passed from friday March 11, 2011, the day was one of the most terrible and sadly days, so called East Japan earthquake.

But reconstruct of regions have not been recovered  than you think.

Restoration from the Accident at Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station will require a long time.(Road map by TEPCO:http://www.tepco.co.jp/en/nu/fukushima-np/index-e.html#anchor00

On foreign and domestic, misunderstanding information of concerning radiative effects incite fears in peoples and media-networks make sensationalism at one part.

This time, What is need is that scientist and specialist provide appropriate information. and this action is not individual but collective.

This collective means 'independent of any outside influence of the scientific community, maintain a balance between theory and practice.

Its any party to voice, as coherent voice of scientists and unique voice of scientists.' (http://crds.jst.go.jp/output/pdf/11xr01.pdf)

About the role of scientists,  you just read the following article. 'http://www.springerlink.com/content/u218428352547h4n/fulltext.html'

Still, there are many problems, but I have convinced that Japanese sciense and All Japanese will be strong more than before situation of 3.11.
